Won the Nobel Prize for developing protein crystallography which determined the structure of bio molecules.
2: Rosalind Franklin
A biophysicist who produced the first X-ray diffraction images of DNA.
3: Barbara McClintock
Won the Nobel Prize in physiology when she discovered the ability for genes to change position on chromosomes
4: Maria Goeppert-Mayer
Won the Nobel prize in Physics in 1963 for her work explaining how the atomic nuclei is structured.
5: Katherine Johnson
Physicist and mathematician who worked for NASA. She was known for her accuracy in calculating trajectories and launch windows.

She won the Nobel prize for medicine for her work in developing drugs to treat AIDS and malaria.
7: Irène Joliot-Curie
She won the Nobel prize for chemistry after finding artificial radioactivity.
8: Hedy Lamarr
She invented technology that is used in WiFi and bluetooth and was inducted into the inventor’s Hall of Fame.

she discovered Protactinium and nuclear fission.
10: Marie Curie
She was the first woman to win a Nobel prize for physics in 1903. She won the prize again in 1911 for chemistry.
